Äitienpäivänä

Äitienpäivän kunniaksi tein äidilleni pikaisen kortin (suurempi aikapanos meni leivonnaisiin). Ja kuvauskin oli hyvin pikainen toimitus, pahoittelut kuvan laadusta :D

Toivottavasti äitienpäivä on tämänvuotisesta säästä huolimatta riittävän kesäinen juhla P*skikseen. :)

I think most of my random readers don't know any Finnish so I'd better start writing in English :)

This card was inspired by the Craft-room Challenge "Roses and Romance". I was trying to go over the top but in the end it's still pretty simple. I stamped some text on white card with Distress Ink (Antique Linen) to make is less, well, white :D The card already had the oval opening, perfect for show-casing a rosy patterned paper. To add some roses, I glued on some glossy die-cuts and cut some butterflies myself (using another rose-patterned paper, of course). Added the pearlescent sentiment with a heart-shaped stud for some romantic flare, in case the roses didn't do the job :D

Itämäistä

Aasia on ollut lempimantereeni noin aina. Erityisesti sydäntäni lähellä on Itä- (Japani <3) ja nyttemmin myös Kaakkois-Aasia. Niinpä annoin japanilaisten puupiirosten (vanhasta seinäkalenterista) koristaa luonnos- ym. lehtiöni kantta. Pääsin myös käyttämään hamstraamiani kiiltokuvia :)
